A Post for my Love

Well, I just typed this really long post about a guy, German books, and the HSC library. They have a connection, I promise. Well, just as I was typing the last words of the post, my computer froze up and I lost it all!!! AAARRRGGG! Does that mean that God doesn't want me to tell that story? Alas, I have temporarily moved on to a new subject. One that is very near and dear to my heart:

Anderson Cooper

Anderson and I go waaaaayyy back. When I was in 8th grade, our school had us watch "Channel One" news. We watched it for a couple of years. And during those couple of years there was a young, tenacious, and cute reporter named Anderson Cooper. For years, I never saw him. He moved on, I graduated high school, and we were separated by thousands of miles. And then I saw him again. Now a successful, gray-haired, and HANDSOME journalist. *sigh* I'm smitten. Forget the fifteen-year age gap, years mean nothing when you're talking about love. I saw him on Oprah the other day and I about jumped into the tv to tell her to keep her hands off of him! Seriously, I never realized Oprah was so touchy-feely. Anyways, I have been trying to figure out how to meet him. Barring any hurricanes in Lubbock and an expose' on Bobby Knight, I don't think Anderson will be traveling to Lubbock any time soon. Do you think he loves God? hmmm we can work on that. Anyways, Anderson Cooper, if at any time you run across this blog, and read this mushy confession of love, please come to Lubbock, Texas. Really, it grows on you.

much love, eb

how did i live with you for years and never know about this anderson cooper obsession? maybe you should write oprah a letter about that whole touchy-feely thing...i mean, if AC is gonna be your man, Oprah's going to have to keep her hands off.
